What is Tripushkara yoga?
Tripushkara is an auspicious muhurta yoga. It forms when a Bhadra tithi, Dwitiya, Saptami or Dwadashi, falls on a Sunday, Tuesday or Saturday, together with one of the three-footed (tripada) nakshatras: Krittika, Punarvasu, Uttara Phalguni, Vishakha, Uttara Ashadha or Purva Bhadrapada. Work begun in this yoga is believed to repeat three times, so it is picked for things you wish to multiply: purchases, investments and new ventures.
How Tripushkara yoga forms
All three must overlap in the Panchang day, which starts at sunrise. This is the same family as Dwipushkara yoga, but with the tripada nakshatras instead of the dvipada ones.
What to do in Tripushkara yoga
Choose Tripushkara for things you want to see multiplied:
- Buying property, vehicles or gold
- Starting a business or investment
- Signing important agreements
- Any beginning you wish to see grow threefold
