What we collect

When you join the horoscope list or the report waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and birth details (date, time if known, and place). Your WhatsApp number is optional; we store it but never send you WhatsApp messages.

How we store it

Your details live in a Cloudflare D1 database on our own infrastructure. We never sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

How we use it

We use your details only to send your horoscope emails and occasional service updates you signed up for. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.

Payments

Consultation payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Your rights

Write to admin@vedicastrology.services any time to see, correct, or delete your data. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days.

Mobile app privacy

Vedic Astrology Services app. This section covers the Vedic Astrology Services mobile app for iOS and Android.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the free horoscope subscription:

• Your name and email address, which you provide when you subscribe.
• Your birth details (date, time and place of birth), taken from the Kundali tab on your device, used only to personalize your horoscope by your Moon sign.
• Your language preference (English or Hindi) and subscription status (subscribed, verified, daily emails on or off), plus timestamps.

We do NOT collect passwords (there are none), precise device location, contacts, photos, or payment details. We run no analytics SDKs and no advertising trackers in the app.

2. Why we collect it

To send you your free daily horoscope by email, personalized to your birth chart, and to manage your subscription (verification, language, unsubscribe). Nothing else.

3. Where your data lives

Subscriber records are stored in an encrypted database (Cloudflare D1). Emails are sent through Resend. Your birth details also stay on your own device, where your kundali is computed. We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Email rules we follow

• Double opt-in: you only start receiving horoscopes after tapping the verification link in your signup email. This proves your consent.
• Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link and a List-Unsubscribe header. Unsubscribing stops all horoscope emails immediately.
• We never send your birth details or personal data to anyone else.

5. Your rights

• Unsubscribe anytime: tap the link in any email, or use Unsubscribe in the app's Account tab.
• Delete my data: use "Delete my data" in the app's Account tab, or email admin@vedicastrology.services. We delete your subscriber record, including name, email and birth details, and confirm by email.
• Export: email us and we will send you everything we hold about you.
• Pending (unverified) signups are deleted automatically after 30 days.

6. Children

This service is for ages 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the date above. Continued use of the subscription after changes means you accept the new policy.
